The Clover Poker Club (“Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from members and prospective members, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

To operate a private, age-restricted poker club, we collect the following information during registration and ongoing membership:

  • Full legal name — for identity verification and membership records.
  • Date of birth — to confirm the 21+ age requirement.
  • Phone number — for game RSVPs, seat notifications, and member communication via SMS.
  • Email address — for account access, receipts, and club announcements.
  • Photo — for visual member verification at the door.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

  • Membership verification — confirming your identity, age, and active membership status at entry.
  • SMS notifications — game alerts, seat availability, RSVPs, and occasional member updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.
  • Club operations — processing membership fees, tracking seat time, maintaining the leaderboard, and managing day-to-day operations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below), subject to any legal retention requirements.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party providers to operate the Club. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and data is shared only to the extent necessary for the service:

  • Supabase — secure database and authentication. Stores your member profile, login credentials, and session data.
  • Twilio — SMS delivery. Processes your phone number to send game and club notifications.
  • Resend — transactional email. Processes your email address to deliver account and contact messages.

These providers are contractually required to safeguard your information and use it solely to deliver their services to the Club.

5. SMS & Text Messaging Data

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your information, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing by terminating your membership.

7. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued membership or use of the Club following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
